At Amore Flowers, every arrangement is handcrafted by our in-studio florists and delivered with care across Cincinnati and nearby Northern Kentucky. This page explains exactly how our delivery works, including cutoff times, fees, handoff rules, and what to expect on the day of delivery.

Same-Day Delivery (Order by 12:00 PM)
We offer same-day flower delivery to most Cincinnati neighborhoods when you place your order before 12:00 PM (noon) local time.

Order cutoff: 12:00 PM for same-day delivery

Delivery windows: Typically afternoon and early evening (exact timing depends on route volume and destination)

2-Hour Same-Day Delivery: When available, we may be able to deliver within ~2 hours. This is not guaranteed and depends on current order volume, distance, traffic, and recipient availability. Please call us if you need a tight window.
If you place an order after the cutoff, we will schedule delivery for the next available delivery day unless you choose a specific future date at checkout.

Delivery Fees
Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on distance and route logistics. Fees help cover professional handling, safe transport, and time-sensitive scheduling.
Recipient Availability (Important)
Flowers are perishable, and successful delivery depends on access to the recipient.
To avoid delays, please provide:

Recipient full name and phone number

Complete address (including apartment/unit, gate code, business suite, floor, etc.)

Any delivery instructions (security desk, concierge, doorman hours)
If the recipient is not reachable or access is blocked, we will follow the steps below under Delivery Attempts & Redelivery.
Delivery to Apartments, Hospitals, Hotels, and Offices
We can deliver to most secured locations, but access rules vary.
Apartments/Condos:
We deliver to the address provided. If a building requires entry codes or the recipient must meet the driver, please include instructions and ensure the recipient is available.
Hospitals & Medical Facilities:
Some hospitals restrict flowers by department or policy. Please confirm the facility allows floral deliveries and provide the correct unit/room (if permitted).
Hotels:
Many hotels require delivery to the front desk/concierge. Provide the guest name and reservation name if different.
Offices:
We deliver during business hours when possible. Please include business name, suite number, and receptionist instructions.
Substitutions (Seasonality & Freshness First)
We hand-select stems from trusted local and regional sources. Because flower supply changes daily, we may make minor substitutions to maintain quality and color harmony.

Delivery Confirmation & Proof of Delivery
Our goal is reliable, professional handoff. Depending on the situation, delivery confirmation may include:

A confirmation note (recipient/desk/concierge)

Photo proof where appropriate and permitted
If you need delivery to be surprise-safe (no calls/texts), note that at checkout.
Delivery Attempts & Redelivery
If we cannot complete delivery due to one of the following:

recipient not available
-
incorrect or incomplete address
-
missing gate/access code
-
business closed
-
no safe place to leave the flowers
…we will attempt to contact the recipient and/or sender.
Redelivery may require an additional fee based on route and timing. In some cases, we may return the arrangement to our studio to protect freshness.
Special Dates (High-Demand Holidays)
On major floral holidays (especially Valentine’s Day 2/14, Mother’s Day, and peak weekends), delivery volume is extremely high. During these periods:

specific timed deliveries may be limited

substitutions may be more likely due to market sellouts

Address Changes & Order Updates
If you need to change the delivery address or instructions, contact us as soon as possible.

Once the driver is en route, changes may not be possible or may require an additional fee
Cancellations & Refunds
Because floral orders involve perishable inventory and custom design time:

Orders may be eligible for cancellation before production begins

If the arrangement has already been designed or dispatched, refunds may be limited
If there’s a problem with your order, contact us and we’ll work toward a fair resolution.
